We provide structured, quality care in a nurturing Christian environment. Learn more about the programs we provide for your child.

Programs

CCC is designed for children who are three, four and five years old. Children have the opportunity to participate in theme-based activities, age-appropriate projects, and independent choice centers; all are integral parts of our Christian curriculum. Children will also be involved in indoor and outdoor play and games on a daily basis.

We offer before and after school care for Homestead Wakefield Elementary School students, kindergarten through 5th grade. Homework assistance is available on all levels.

Guiding little hearts with faith and purpose

Our goals go beyond early education—we strive to nurture the whole child through a Christ-centered approach. We aim to create a loving, secure environment where children grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. Through prayer, biblical values, and age-appropriate learning, we help children discover God’s love while building a strong foundation for future success.

  • To encourage good work habits in caring for self and materials.
  • To develop Christian attitudes of caring, cooperation, and sharing with children and adults.
  • To foster awareness, understanding, and respect for peers, adults, family, and community.
  • To stimulate a curiosity for learning and the ability to be resourceful, to observe, think, and problem solve through developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences.

Maryland EXCELS Level 2

Maryland Accreditation is a process for licensed child care centers and Public Pre-K programs to demonstrate their commitment to high-quality learning. Programs use tools such as Maryland Accreditation Standards, self-appraisals with staff and family input, a Program Improvement Plan, optional support through remote or on-site technical assistance, and a validation visit to achieve accreditation status. - Maryland State Department of Education

Our Mission

We, the CCC Board of Directors and the CCC Staff, believe that each child is of sacred worth and is created in the image of God. We show and encourage children to develop Christian attitudes and behaviors through Bible stories and Christian songs. We provide an environment in which children are free to learn and grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. Through interaction with their peers, the children will learn to share and take turns, to encourage each other, to respect the rights of others and to stand up for themselves.  Freedom within limits is provided for the children to grow together in their faith and to love as Jesus loves.

what our parents say

CCC has been amazing in every capacity, from Pre-school, to summer care, to before and after school care. My children have been lucky to have learned a lot academically and spiritually.  We found a place we trust, a place the kids enjoy and a place that feels like family.  We feel blessed to be a part of this CCC family.

CCC is such an amazing place for children and the perfect fit for our family! The staff, routines and quality of care never waiver, and for that we are so grateful. The organization as a whole exudes love, consistency, kindness and generosity on a daily basis. We are so grateful to be a part of this organization!

The Moores

The Children’s Christian Center in Bel Air, MD is a safe and nurturing environment ideal for shaping the hearts and minds of little ones.  The learning center teaches not only the foundational academic information that will be needed among beginning students, but also strengthens the moral compass of three to five year-olds by showing and expecting kindness, fairness, and compassion.  They balance early learning with the physical and emotional needs of children to just be kids, making time and space for indoor and outdoor imaginary and exploratory play.  It’s a wonderful place in which to entrust the overall well-being of your child.

We are so grateful for Children’s Christian Center! The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and nurturing, and it’s clear they truly love what they do. The faith-based environment has been such a blessing for our family—it’s wonderful to see our daughter learning about God’s love while also growing academically and socially.

Since starting at the preschool, our daughter has learned so much and truly excelled. Her confidence has blossomed, and she comes home excited to share what she’s learned each day.

We highly recommend Children’s Christian Center to any family looking for a safe, loving, and Christ-centered place for their child to learn and grow. It’s been a beautiful start to our daughter’s educational journey!
